Rail First Recognised with Two Major Industry Awards 

Rail First is proud to announce that we have been recognised with two awards at the 2026 Rail Industry Awards: The Rail Freight Excellence Award and the Employee Engagement Excellence Award. These awards reflect the passion, dedication and hard work of our people, as well as the support from our customers and shareholders.  

The Rail Freight Excellence Award recognises our innovative leasing solutions, investment in Australian manufacturing, significant upgrades to our facilities, including the transformation of the Wagon Production Centre, and the outstanding contribution of our employees. The Employee Engagement Excellence Award highlights Rail First’s commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to contribute. Building a strong culture remains a key focus for the business, and this award reflects the efforts made across the organisation to foster collaboration, recognition, wellbeing, and professional growth. 

These achievements would not have been possible without the commitment of our people, the trust of our customers and the ongoing support of our shareholders and industry partners. We thank everyone who has contributed to Rail First’s success and helped us reach this milestone.
