Rail First appoints Vic Regina as CCO

Rail First Asset Management, Australia’s leading provider of rollingstock solutions for the rail industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Vic Regina as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

Mr Regina is a talented and senior freight, logistics, and transport executive, with more than 30 years of industry management and leadership experience, including senior roles at Pacific National, Transport for NSW, and Federal Express Australia.

Vic was recently the Strategic Intermodal Terminals Lead for Pacific National. Prior to this as Director of the Freight Branch at Transport for NSW, Vic chaired the rail industry’s Port Botany Rail Optimisation Group (PBROG) and led the Cargo Movement Coordination Centre (CMCC). At FedEx Express Australia Vic was Senior General Manager, responsible for Australian operations.  

He brings skills across business development, operations, planning, implementing and controlling business strategies, and helping to achieve people, safety, customer, and performance targets.

Mr Regina said he was excited about the opportunity. “I will be working hard to help the business deepen its already strong relationships with our customers, whilst exploring new opportunities for growth, using my extensive industry relationships. We operate in most states of Australia, with all the major train operators, so I’m hugely excited by this opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.”

Mr Regina holds an MBA, as well as several post-graduate qualifications, including a Diploma of Business Administration, and a Diploma in Property Development.
