Rail First on track with $150m pipeline
Great article in @The Australian on Rail First’s growing manufacturing capabilities. Our local production in Adelaide is ramping up, fueled by new ownership and a $150m investment pipeline that will drive innovation and excellence in wagon manufacturing and leasing.
We’ve already manufactured 200 wagons at Islington and have set our sights on producing 1000 wagons by 2030. We’re capitalising on our leading domestic manufacturing capability to put Australia on the map in the global rail industry. We welcome the federal government’s move to appoint the first rail manufacturing advocate, which will further support the shift from road to rail.
