Rail First is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Reddaway as People Director. Kate is a highly experienced and well respected people leader with human resources expertise in a range of industries including commercial construction and local government. Kate’s most recent position was as the Head of People Operations for Richard Crookes Constructions, one of Australia’s largest privately owned construction contractors.
Rail First is Australia’s leading provider of full-service vertically integrated rolling stock leasing and maintenance solutions to the rail industry. The company operates over 1,400 locomotives and wagons with two strategically located workshops in Islington (SA) and Goulburn (NSW) which service a blue-chip customer base that is primarily focused on the intermodal market.
Kate is respected for her pragmatic approach and her ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organisation, creating trust in the people and culture functions she builds. She is known for her technical expertise and her experience in developing and implementing people strategies and initiatives that support organisational growth and an enhanced employee experience.
